She always tries to stay grounded within the boundaries of The Ethics of Touch while fulfilling her spiritual call to offer healing to those who need it.
Barbara Suzanne Ryan is an ABMP Certified Bodywork Therapist. She graduated from Sister Rosalind’s School of Professional Massage in 1996, where she continued her studies of anatomy and physiology and learned the basics of massage therapy. Suzanne’s original interest in this field began in Texas where she was a physical therapy assistant and therapy technician carrying out professional programs written for students assigned to her at the Fort Worth State School. She was in the physical therapy preparatory curriculum in college in Texas when she and her family moved to Minnesota. As a result of the climate change and the enduring shock of extremely cold weather on a southern girl’s body, she went on the University of Minnesota to further her studies in Horticulture, while abandoning Physical Therapy. When given the chance to learn advanced bodywork therapy, it fit in perfectly with her original plan to help people feel better given any of life’s twists and turns. Whether taking care of people or plants, Suzanne excels in that kinesthetic touch that is so important to life itself.
After massage school, Suzanne has continued her studies at the Upledger Institute, whose headquarters are in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She is currently working toward becoming technique certified and teaching assistant certified in CranioSacral Therapy.
